Who Are We?
Our Mission: Increase government transparency to connect and empower. We're building the first "gateway" that helps businesses and individuals make sense of messy government data.
Why: Corporations, lawyers, lobbyists, non-profits, and individuals alike are still using spreadsheets and archaic government websites to understand how bills impact their industry. They deserve a 21st century tool that streamlines how we make sense of pending legislation, and enables a more transparent and accessible lobbying process.
Customers: Include Fortune 500 Companies, AM Law 100 Global Law Firms, and Government Organizations
Team: Passionate and hungry (both literally and figuratively), looking to build cool stuff to benefit everyone!
Where: we are a small team primarily based in NYC.
Your Background
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, managing project timelines and deliverables.
Familiarity with modern web frameworks: experience with frameworks such as Remix and NextJS (ideally 5+ years).
Front-end languages: proficiency with HTML, CSS, Typescript, and Javascript.
Database knowledge: strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
Cloud services: experience building with and deploying to AWS/GCP
Passionate about Code Quality and Testing: Ensure code quality through code reviews, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration and Communication: ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Fast Learner: You quickly learn new concepts, and you easily pick up new skills.
Determination: You love challenges, and persist when problems become complex.
Passionate: You’re passionate about politics and increasing government transparency. 🗽
