Job Description

As the Sales Operations Manager, you will report to the Sales Operations Director and work closely with both the Sales and Customer Success teams to drive sales performance, improve efficiency, and optimise the sales lifecycle. This role will require a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure continuous productivity and growth in the organisation. You will play a critical role in identifying challenges, creating solutions, and enabling the Sales & Customer Success teams to achieve high performance.

Responsibilities - Sales Operations

  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Manage, analyse, and summarise the weekly sales forecast and create board-level contributions for the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Pricing and Contract Support: Support the sales team with high-quality proposals and pricing, ensuring quick turnaround for business needs.
  • Post-Sales Support: Management of all post signature deal processes including provisioning of Salesforce Products.
  • Sales Management: Collaborate with regional sales leaders to develop and execute sales management disciplines and processes, including territory assignments, QBRs, pipeline analysis, account planning, and quota allocation.
  • Renewals & attrition: Manage regular cadence with CSM leaders to support renewals, upsells and mitigate attrition. Monitor SFDC PNR payments.
  • Sales Tools & Processes: Lead, manage, and evaluate sales tools, processes, policies, and programs to ensure continuous productivity and effectiveness.
  • Sales Handbook & Training: Improve and manage the Sales Handbook and lead the development of training programs to elevate the sales team’s capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure alignment of sales operations with business objectives, working closely with marketing, finance, and IT to streamline processes.
  • Sales Technology: Oversee the implementation and management of CRM systems and sales technologies, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Process Optimisation: Optimise the end-to-end sales process, from pipeline development to forecasting and quota setting, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities - Customer Success Operations

  • Management of Professional Services engagements and assignments
  • Support Professional Services budget management
  • Monthly Professional Services billing
  • Customer Expense Invoicing
  • Monthly Managed Services effort reconciliation
  • Sub-contractor (SI) timesheet entry & management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a global SAAS sales or sales operations environment and a strong understanding of Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to design and execute data-driven sales strategies that focussed on revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales forecasting, planning, and compensation management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Analytical mindset, strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a passion for driving results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on business justification and closing techniques, coupled with exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the Consumer Goods industry and cloud/mobile solutions is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
