Job Description

Aforza is looking for an experienced Solutions Consultant with deep experience within the Consumer Goods industry to take a lead role in our talented Professional Services team. The Consultant will take overall responsibility for the solutions we deliver to our customers through the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of the Aforza industry cloud solution on the Salesforce platform. Working within an implementation team of Functional Consultants, Technical Consultants and Project Managers, the Solution Consultant will engage closely with customer stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements and translate them into solutions.

A successful Solutions Consultant must have strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel both within Aforza and customer organisations . They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. They should also stay up-to-date with the latest Aforza and Salesforce features and releases, and be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the organisation.

You’ll use your extensive Aforza and Salesforce expertise, consulting skills, and thought leadership to produce creative and effective solutions, helping ensure end-to-end success with our industry leading products. Furthermore, as a leader within the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for enhancing our capabilities, building out process and tooling, and for mentoring and developing more junior team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Aforza implementation projects to deliver best in class Consumer Goods solutions for our customers.
  • Lead Discovery Workshops and requirements analysis sessions to drive out detailed user stories.
  • Inspire your fellow Aforza Professional Services team members (Project Managers, Functional Consultants and Technical Consultants) with your industry knowledge to deliver complex Solution Designs to address detailed requirements.
  • Be an expert in all things Aforza, including the functionality of the Aforza desktop & mobile applications, configuration methods & techniques, and Consumer Goods industry best practices.
  • Advise on application architectures for Aforza and common third-party ERP systems.
  • Drive standards and technical excellence within the team and with partners, investing time in supporting colleagues with their development.
  • Enhance the Aforza delivery methodology with new and innovative ways of working.
  • Work closely with the Aforza R&D team to advise on the Aforza product roadmap based on current and future customer requirements and requests.

Experience

Ideally you are someone with:

  • Consumer Goods industry experience, specifically working within sales, marketing, merchandising and trade promotion areas of the business. This experience may have been gained directly within a CG company or by working in a consulting role delivering services to CG companies.
  • Experience in implementing Enterprise SaaS applications within CG businesses in the role of a Lead Solution Consultant.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex software architectures and integrations, and to design solutions to fit within customer landscapes.
  • A natural communicator with the ability to forge strong relationships from customer C-Suite to operational levels.
  • Experience in using agile methodologies.
  • Experience in writing technical and functional documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform would be an advantage.
