As the Sr. Billing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the company’s day to day billing operations as well as ownership over the long term strategic vision of billing systems and processes necessary to support the company’s future growth. You will be a key member of the finance team, reporting to the Controller. You’ll also work closely with the Enterprise Systems, Customer Success, Sales Ops, and Support teams, as well as the Leadership team and other key stakeholders throughout the company. This position will begin as an individual contributor (IC), with the opportunity to build out a team as the company grows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE

  • Manage all monthly billing cycle activities covering one-time, recurring, and usage based invoicing
  • Perform invoice review and validation to ensure the ongoing completeness and accuracy of customer invoices
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing and dispute resolution, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders when necessary
  • Identify and track billing variances through daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations
  • Support month-end and ad-hoc reporting tasks as needed
  • Implement best practices and process improvements to scale the billing function to support growth
  • Act as a subject matter expert and participate actively in ERP, CRM, and billing system updates and improvements, including user acceptance testing and implementation
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls throughout the billing process
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Perform special projects as requested

WHO YOU ARE:

This role is scoped for a Senior Billing Operations Manager (IC position) but may be adjusted to Billing Operation Manager (IC position) based on years of experience.

  • 3-5+ years of subscription billing experience, preferably in a high growth company.
  • B2B SaaS experience
  • Strong billing systems expertise. Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.

Your total budgeted cash compensation for this role is between $103,950 and $148,500 USD, depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement.
