At Boulevard, our Customer Experience team is dedicated to launching, supporting, and strengthening relationships with our clients. As an Onboarding Specialist, Data Migrations, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers transition from legacy systems to the Boulevard platform with minimal disruption and maximum confidence.
You’ll be the technical partner behind the scenes—transforming, cleaning, and validating data to ensure accuracy, security, and a seamless migration experience. From pre-sale planning through post-launch cleanup, you'll own end-to-end data migration workflows while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure every customer launch is a success.
What you’ll do here:
Pre-Sale & Scoping
- Meet with prospective clients pre-close to understand their data needs and align migration expectations.
- Partner with Sales to scope technical requirements and validate feasibility.
- Participate in customer and prospect calls as a subject matter expert on data migrations.
Data Migration & Import
- Own and manage full-service and free import migrations from initial planning through final execution.
- Perform imports using tools such as Flatfile and Google Sheets with high accuracy and consistency.
- Execute structured QA and validation checks on all data prior to launch.
- Handle migration-related CFDs/CSRs and execute bulk updates (e.g., pricing changes, contact edits).
- Clean up migrations on launch day in partnership with Onboarding Specialists, focusing on data integrity.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Coordinate full-service migrations with teams like Odetta and Customer Operations (COPS).
- Work closely with Engineering to manage escalations, track bugs, and improve tooling.
- Partner with COPS and Engineering on Flatfile improvements and onboarding tools.
- Support Onboarding Specialists in resolving real-time data issues during customer launches.
Operational & Team Support
- Track migration timelines, coordinate launch calendars, and communicate progress and blockers clearly.
- Answer internal team questions in shared Slack channels (#onboarding-questions, etc.).
- Assist in data review for proof-of-concept migrations for strategic accounts.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and one-sheets related to migrations and tooling.
What you’ll need to thrive:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing data migrations or working with platform dashboards.
- 1+ year of direct experience with Boulevard dashboard and data migrations (preferred).
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel—comfortable with formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and structured data manipulation.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities under pressure.
- Excellent project and time management—able to juggle multiple migrations simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and security.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and work independently.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with Flatfile or similar structured import tools.
- Experience with SaaS onboarding, technical support, or customer implementation.
- Knowledge of data privacy best practices, especially around marketing consent and HIPPA customer data handling.
How we’ll take care of you:
Your starting budgeted cash compensation for this role is between $64,000 - $92,000, depending on your current skills, experience, training, and overall market demands. This total compensation range is subject to change, and there is always room for growth and advancement.
