Juno GTM Engineer Philadelphia, PA · San Diego, CA · Full time Company website

Juno is building the AI operating system for modern tax firms — automating the research, drafting, and analysis work that tax professionals spend hours doing manually today. As a fast-growing tax tech company, we’re scaling quickly and building the systems that power how we sell, market, and grow. We’re hiring a GTM Engineer to own and scale the automation and data infrastructure behind our go-to-market engine. This role is for someone who has already built and owned GTM automations in the past — not someone fresh out of school. You’ll design systems, ship workflows, and solve operational problems that impact the entire company in a hybrid role based out of San Diego or Philadelphia.

About Juno

Founded by a CPA and tax firm owner, Juno is a fast-growing AI company solving real problems for tax accounting firms. Our mission is to empower every tax professional with technology that truly understands the job because it’s built by someone who’s lived it. Trusted by hundreds of firms and growing quickly, we’re building tools people rely on every day. If you’re excited about using AI to solve real problems and help shape the future of tax, we’d love for you to be part of it.

Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a technically-minded GTM Engineer who thrives at the intersection of go-to-market systems and data. This is a rare opportunity to do work that impacts an entire organization’s operating system — you’ll own the build, optimization, and expansion of our GTM automation stack, and contribute directly to product analytics that shapes how we grow. You’ll have real visibility across Sales, Marketing, and Product, and your work will be seen and felt by the whole company.

We’re looking for someone who is a few years into their career but not new to ownership. You’ve already built and shipped things — not just assisted on them — and you bring the professional instincts to match: communicating proactively, managing your own priorities, and knowing when to ask for help versus when to make a call. If you’re looking for a role where you can grow fast, have genuine impact from day one, and be surrounded by people who will push you to be better, this is it.

WHO YOU ARE

You take ownership, not just direction.

You don’t wait to be told what to do next. When you spot a gap or a problem, you surface it with a proposed solution, not just a question. You follow through without being chased.

You communicate with intention.

You understand that how you communicate your work is as important as the work itself. You write and speak clearly, adjust your level of detail for your audience, and treat updates and handoffs as first-class outputs — not afterthoughts.

You think critically before you execute.

You ask “why” before you ask “how.” You evaluate instructions and tool outputs — including AI-generated suggestions — with a skeptical eye rather than accepting them at face value. You understand that speed without judgment creates rework.

You thrive in a fast, cross-functional environment.

You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. You adapt when priorities shift, and you keep the right people informed without being asked.

You treat failure as a feature, not a flaw.

You know that working at the edge of what’s possible means things will break and attempts won’t always land. You don’t freeze up or spiral when that happens — you diagnose, learn, and move forward. What you don’t do is let the fear of getting it wrong stop you from making a call.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST-HAVES

1+ year of hands-on GTM automation ownership (not just support)

JavaScript proficiency — able to write and debug code independently in n8n and similar tools without relying on AI to generate it

SQL proficiency — must be able to handwrite queries from scratch to answer analytical questions; AI-assisted SQL you cannot read or validate is not sufficient

Working knowledge of REST APIs — including authentication patterns (OAuth, API keys), request/response handling, and debugging failed calls

Experience building workflows and automations (n8n, Clay, Make, Zapier, or native CRM tools)

Proficiency with at least one major CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce)

Strong written communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience in a PLG or product-led sales environment

Python scripting for data manipulation or automation

Familiarity with product analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Segment)

Prior experience in a startup or high-growth team environment

Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, or Tableau

Experience with data enrichment tools (Apollo, Clearbit, or similar)

Background in RevOps, Marketing Ops, or Sales Ops functions

Formal startup or high-growth company experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build, maintain, and optimize GTM automations across our CRM, outbound, and lifecycle workflows
  • Own end-to-end delivery of automation projects — from scoping to documentation to stakeholder communication
  • Write SQL queries and work within BI tools to support usage analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to identify and close operational gaps
  • Translate technical work into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders
  • Evaluate and critically assess AI tools and LLM-generated outputs before applying them in production contexts
  • Proactively identify process improvements and surface recommendations to the team

We’re building something ambitious. We want someone who is too.

Salary

$85,000 - $105,000 per year
