About Juno
Description
About Juno
Tax prep is one of the last major workflows in accounting still run on manual labor. Every busy season, firms throw more hours and more people at a problem that shouldn't require either and the software they've been sold for decades hasn't meaningfully changed that.
Juno was founded by a CPA and tax firm owner who lived it. We're building AI-powered tax accounting tools that relieve tax professionals rather than replace them creating software that understands the job because it was built by someone who's done it.
We're at the stage where the product works, firms are telling other firms, and the constraint is how fast we can get in front of them. That's the seat we're hiring for.
About this Role
At Juno, you're not inheriting a playbook, you're helping write it. You'll join a small, fast-growing sales team at the stage where what you build actually sticks: the pitch, the process, the way we sell. You'll own deals end-to-end, from trial to close, and get deep enough on the product that firms trust you to tell them how Juno fits their workflow. You'll turn real product usage into pipeline, work shoulder-to-shoulder with leadership on our SMB strategy, and have a direct hand in shaping how we scale. This is a rare window: early enough that your fingerprints are on the motion, backed enough that you're not selling into the void.
What You'll Do
- Close trial users: Guide prospects through trials with clear criteria for success; pull in key stakeholders early and help customers reach a buying decision.
- Identify and Engage SMB Customers: Monitor usage in the trial base to identify firms with high growth potential, proactively engaging them to ensure success and expand account value.
- Become a Product Expert: Develop a deep understanding of our users and why they're exploring Juno - includes running live demos and sending contracts to interested customers.
- Refine the SMB Sales Process: Collaborate directly with the C-suite to perfect the customer journey, including smooth hand-offs from self-serve free trials to a sales-assisted close.
Who You Are:
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years in a B2B SaaS closing role focused on selling into SMB or mid-market organizations. Ability to run end to end sales cycles from prospecting to close to expansion.
- Top Performer: You have a track record of demonstrable, consistent performance, consistently meeting and exceeding quotas with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic and Process-Oriented: You think critically about the sales process. You understand the importance of metrics and look for ways to improve win-rates and shorten sales cycles.
- Scrappy and Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. We're a startup, so you'll have to demo the product yourself.
- Bonus Points: You have direct experience working in a B2B SaaS startup sales environment. You know how to identify, prioritize, and close qualified leads.
Benefits & Perks (US Full-time Employee)
- Competitive Benefits: Unlimited PTO, company holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, and work-life stipends for home office setup and learning/development
- Significant Equity Upside: We are offering a generous equity package. As a key early hire on a lean, well-funded team, you will have a meaningful stake in the outcome you help create.
- A Modern Sales Motion: Don't waste your time on cold calls. Our founder-led brand and PLG model create a powerful inbound funnel, allowing you to focus on high-intent, consultative selling.
- Incredible Momentum: Join a company that is already winning. Our product has a 97% first-pass accuracy rate, and we have clear financial guardrails to ensure sustainable growth.
- A Mission That Matters: We are solving a real, tangible problem for a user base that has been underserved by technology, and our "built by a CPA" message resonates deeply in the market.
