Account Executive

Seeking an ambitious Account Executive (AE) to pioneer AI workers in biology.

We believe that great scientists should do great science.

Labs waste months to learn and code pipelines that are obsolete for the next experiment. Mithrl’s “digital agents” create on-demand custom workflows using natural language – in minutes. So that scientists can focus all their time to conduct higher-quality experiments.
At Mithrl, we conduct cutting-edge AI research and develop state-of-the-art products. Our scientists have developed in-house (the world’s first) a network of specialized AI agents that fully automate end-to-end dry-lab processes using just natural language. This automation includes:
RNA/DNA sequence processing
Cleaning, sanitizing, and converting unstructured data to structured data
Conducting literature reviews and hypothesis testing
Performing exploratory and complex analysis in minutes (no personnel training required)

What you will do

The AE position is a specialized and an impactful role — your mission is to create predictable lead generation, a cornerstone to an effective sales machine. You will be an expert in predictable lead generation: finding market opportunities, executing outreach campaigns, and systematically booking meetings among other things. Your day to day will consist of activities, metrics, and automation around this:
Leverage our established Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) with access to over 2,000 targeted companies
Collaborate closely with the founders throughout the sales funnel
Contribute significantly to the development and enhancement of our unique sales playbook
Experiment with and identify a repeatable and scalable sales process
Orchestrate Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns personalized to our ICPs
Write and refine messaging frequently based on outreach data and feedback
Navigate and nurture leads from initial contact through to closing the deal
Travel frequently to attend life sciences conferences worldwide

What you need to succeed

Experience as a BDR or AE at an early-stage cloud or software company
Smart hustler
Background in biology — either in school or professionally (if not, we will teach you)
Evidence of exceptional performance at your prior jobs
Ability to understand & communicate technical concepts plainly
Familiarity with at least one of the CRMs and best practices
Desire to excel at sales
Ability to work in-person in San Francisco
