Company Description

Ranger AI transforms how teams in energy, manufacturing, contracting, and pharma manage commercial operations through an AI-powered proposal management platform. The platform helps enterprise teams improve workflows across RFPs, RFQs, proposals, quotations, legal review, and other complex commercial processes. Ranger is backed by Bonfire Ventures, Inovia Capital, 25Madison, and Panache Ventures.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Product Designer at Ranger AI, reporting to the Head of Design. You will work directly with enterprise customers, Product Managers, Forward Deployed Engineers, engineering, sales, and marketing to design and ship product experiences across the Ranger platform.

You will be involved from early customer discovery through workflow design, prototyping, implementation, and launch. The role includes mapping complex customer processes, designing AI-powered workflows and agent experiences, testing ideas with users, and working closely with engineering to make sure the final product is clear, usable, and polished.

You will also support sales and marketing with customer-facing collateral, product visuals, presentations, and other materials that help communicate the value of Ranger clearly.

What You Will Do

  • Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their workflows, pain points, and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, GTM, Forward Deployed Engineering, and the Head of Design on customer deployments.
  • Lead UX and product discovery for new workflows and use cases.
  • Design end-to-end product experiences across AI agents, workflows, document review, approvals, and automation.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and production-ready specifications.
  • Test product concepts with customers and incorporate feedback into the design.
  • Work closely with engineers during implementation and review what ships.
  • Improve information architecture, interaction patterns, system states, responsiveness, and usability across the platform.
  • Identify common patterns across customer deployments and turn them into reusable product experiences.
  • Contribute to and evolve Ranger’s design system.
  • Stay close to customers after launch to understand adoption and areas for improvement.
  • Use Claude and other leading LLM tools throughout the design process for research, ideation, prototyping, documentation, and iteration.
  • Support sales and marketing with product visuals, customer presentations, demo assets, diagrams, case studies, and other collateral.
  • Help maintain a consistent visual and product language across both the application and customer-facing materials.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in enterprise or complex B2B software.
  • Strong portfolio showing complex workflows and high-quality UX/UI work.
  • Experience working directly with customers and conducting user discovery.
  • Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, user flows, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience designing workflow software, enterprise applications, data-heavy products, or technical platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
  • Hands-on experience using Claude and other leading LLM tools as part of your design workflow. This is a must-have.
  • Ability to use AI tools effectively for research, UX exploration, prototyping, product thinking, and faster iteration.
  • Experience working closely with engineering from concept through production.
  • Experience creating polished customer-facing or sales-facing product collateral.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage environment with evolving requirements and product direction.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing AI products, agents, copilots, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience in manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, engineering, supply chain, or other industrial environments.
  • Experience with RFP, RFQ, tendering, quoting, proposal, or contract workflows.
  • Experience designing document-heavy or data-heavy enterprise products.
  • Motion design or advanced interaction design experience.
  • Previous experience at an early-stage startup.
  • Experience building or evolving a design system.

Compensation

  • $130,000–$145,000 CAD base, depending on experience
  • Extended health benefits
  • Opportunity to help shape the product and design function as Ranger scales
