Job Description:

SafeRide Health is seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead Product Owner – Enterprise Systems (Remote) to lead the vision, configuration, and continuous improvement of our four most critical operational platforms: Salesforce, Amazon Connect, Zendesk, and JIRA. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of product management, systems architecture, and platform administration.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a high-agency, high-context individual who thrives at the intersection of product management, systems architecture, and system administration. If you’ve ever been described as a unicorn—or aspire to become one—read on.

You’ll act as the connective tissue between strategic business needs and platform capability, owning both the hands-on backend builds and the strategic roadmaps that enable scalable, intelligent growth across SafeRide. We’re not looking for someone who knows everything today, but someone hungry to learn and confident leading technical and operational conversations from day one. Experience with at least one of our platforms (preferably Salesforce or Amazon Connect) is required, but we’ll invest in helping you master the others.

This role is critical to SafeRide’s success and evolution, as we scale our platform to touch millions of lives across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

The role is structured with an approximate time allocation of 40% Product Management, 25% Vendor Management, 25 % Configuration & Administration, and 10% Architecture & Solution Design. Actual allocation may shift based on evolving business needs.

Product & Platform Ownership

  • Serve as the cross-functional owner of our low-code ecosystem (Salesforce, Amazon Connect, Zendesk, and JIRA), translating operational needs into smart, scalable platform solutions.
  • Manage intake, triage, and prioritization of stakeholder requests, balancing urgent business needs with long-term platform integrity.
  • Define and maintain strategic product roadmaps in collaboration with operations, engineering, and vendors.
  • Ensure clear documentation of user requirements, process flows, user stories, and platform decisions.
  • Communicate roadmaps & release plans to stakeholders.

Architecture & Solution Design

  • Work with the Strategy & Operations team to architect and document robust, flexible, and scalable solutions that align with SafeRide’s growth trajectory.

  • Design and enforce system governance, data integrity, and integration patterns across platforms.

  • Evaluate emerging tools and features within each platform and recommend when to build, buy, or hold.

  • Document data models, integration contracts, and governance standards; champion best practices in security and compliance.

Configuration & Administrator

  • Lead backend configuration and administration across platforms: setting up new workflows, routing logic, objects, automations, permissions, and integrations.

  • Manage user provisioning, security, and compliance-related controls.

  • Conduct regular health checks, manage sandbox environments, and ensure uptime and performance standards.

Vendor & Project Management

  • Partner with and hold external vendors accountable for project delivery, platform stability, and support SLAs.

  • Coordinate platform enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and major rollouts with minimal disruption to end users.

Required Background:

  • 5+ years in a technical product management, systems architecture, or platform administration role.

  • Demonstrated experience owning and delivering low-code/no-code business-critical tools in at least one of the following: Salesforce, Amazon Connect, Zendesk, or JIRA.

  • Deep familiarity with cross-platform workflows, API integrations, and platforms.

  • Proven track record of independently scoping, building, and launching scalable systems and process improvements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for translating technical details into a business context.

  • Self-starter mindset with strong judgment, prioritization, and execution skills.

  • In this role, we are not just seeking someone with the right experience, but someone embodying a blend of personal motivation, intellectual curiosity, and top-tier communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in a growth-stage company

  • Experience or familiarity with logistics-centric businesses, especially within sectors like healthcare, health-tech, or transportation-tech.

  • Platform certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, AWS CCP or Connect Specialist, Zendesk Admin) are a plus.

Our Benefits

• Competitive compensation package

• 401(k) with employer match

• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance

• Generous paid time off, including vacation and wellness days

• Paid parental leave

• Home office stipend
