Product Manager, Games & Experiences
Topia builds immersive social worlds where people gather, play, learn, and collaborate. Our SDK and Experience Engine enable developers and creators to build interactive games and AI-powered experiences inside persistent virtual spaces.
Topia powers large-scale virtual environments used by 100,000+ students across K-12 education deployments, including SchoolSpace.io, our dedicated edtech platform for schools, and K12 Zone, a virtual campus experience used by students nationwide.
We’re now expanding our capacity to develop games and experiences that live inside these worlds. Our focus is building engaging, social gameplay and interactive experiences for K-12 students - ranging from educational experiences to pure entertainment and exploration.
We’re looking for a Games & Experiences Product Manager to help define what we build as well as design and ship engaging in-world games built on Topia. You’ll identify opportunities, design compelling gameplay experiences, and rapidly prototype and iterate using Topia’s tools and AI.
This role sits at the intersection of product, game design, and AI experimentation. You’ll work closely with engineers and artists to bring new experiences to life. You will make data-driven decisions, collect user feedback, and iteratively prototype.
We’re looking for someone who can both define the vision and get their hands dirty.
This role will allow you to:
- Imagine, prototype, and launch entirely new kinds of games and social experiences
- Own the full product lifecycle
- See your ideas come to life in real worlds used by hundreds of thousands of students
- Use AI as a creative tool to design dynamic, living gameplay systems
- Work at the intersection of AI, multiplayer worlds, and creative tooling
- Rapidly experiment, prototype, and iterate in a highly creative environment
- Identify and define new game and experience opportunities through user feedback, analytics, and creative exploration.
- Define and ship games and interactive experiences built on the Topia SDK & Topia Experience Engine.
- Prototype gameplay systems and mechanics.
- Design engaging social and multiplayer gameplay loops that drive retention and repeat play.
- Analyze player behavior and engagement metrics to iterate on experiences and improve outcomes.
- Experiment with AI-powered experiences (NPCs, dynamic quests, generative gameplay).
- Collaborate with engineering and art to productize and polish prototypes.
- Provide direction on game feel, progression systems, rewards, etc.
- Continuously test, learn, and refine through rapid iteration cycles.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5+ years in product management, game design, or interactive experiences
- Strong product instincts: ability to identify opportunities, prioritize ideas, and define what to build
- Comfort using AI tools and APIs to build and experiment
- Strong intuition for game mechanics, player motivation, and social gameplay
- Experience using data, analytics, and user feedback to inform decisions
- Comfortable collaborating across engineering and creative disciplines in a fast-moving environment

- Experience building or prototyping games or interactive systems
- Experience with JavaScript, game engines, or SDK-based platforms
