By blending smart automation with deep industry understanding, Vali empowers care teams to provide more consistent, proactive, and human-centered care.
What you’ll do
Building across the full stack and helping shape product direction
Launching new features, speaking directly with customers to gather feedback, iterating quickly
Owning multiple parts of the product end-to-end
You’ll be successful in this role if you…
are passionate about building AI agents that solves real world problems
are a self-starter excited about taking full ownership of projects you’re working on, and communicating to ensure they’re moving forward regularly
are comfortable moving across the stack, from backend systems, working with LLMs, to user-facing applications
have ownership mentality across the whole business; don’t need permission to leave things better than you found them
enjoy learning and working in a very fast-paced environment
Bonus points
Prior experience as a founder or founding engineer
Strong product intuition
Have built LLM-powered products
Experience with Typescript, React, Python
Work in-person 3 days a week in Bay Area
*** We want to avoid having someone who only touches one part of the codebase (ex: "I only do frontend"). Some people obviously have proficiencies but in general, we all work full stack and are willing to learn anything to make things work.

Interview process
We believe that people demonstrate their talent in various ways and we want to be flexible in what works best for you. We also encourage using AI tools to reflect how you actually work and use real world examples instead of leetcode style questions.
After an initial background screening to determine culture fit, we will work together to determine what’s the best next step for you to demonstrate your technical skills. It can be multi-day paid work trial, single-day AI assisted in-person mini project, past project walkthrough, etc. If you have your preferred method of showing off your skills as a talented engineer, we’d love to hear about those too!
