Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer
Location: SF Bay Area
Type: Full Time
Compensation: Cash + Equity
We build AI agents for
home-care agencies to better take care of people. We’re hiring a hands-on Infrastructure/DevOps engineer to own our Google Cloud foundations so product and our engineering teams can ship fast—safely.
What you’ll do
Own CI/CD & deployments on GCP: design pipelines and safe rollouts (blue/green, canary) with Cloud Build/Cloud Deploy (plus GitHub Actions where useful).
Run reliable services: GKE/Cloud Run ops, autoscaling, traffic shaping, rollout/rollback, disaster recovery, and cost controls.
Data platform & storage: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Pub/Sub, Memorystore; backups/PITR, access/IAM, and offline/batch pipelines via Cloud Composer (Airflow) / Dataflow (Beam) / dbt.
Observability end-to-end: Cloud Monitoring/Logging, Error Reporting, traces (OpenTelemetry), dashboards, runbooks, and alerting.
Networking & security: VPC/IAM, Workload Identity, Secret Manager/KMS (CMEK), Cloud Armor/LB, private services, org policies.
Internal tooling & paved roads: service templates, dev envs, CLIs, golden paths that speed up scheduling and voice workflows.
What you’ve done
3–7 years in infra/platform/DevOps/SRE running production systems.
Deep with GCP (GKE or Cloud Run, Cloud Build/Deploy, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).
Built reliable CI/CD, multi-env promotion, automated rollbacks, and infra as code (Terraform).
Implemented observability (Cloud Monitoring/Logging, OTel) and led incidents/on-call with SLOs/SLIs.
Managed datastores & data pipelines (Cloud SQL/Spanner; Composer/Dataflow/dbt; Redis/Memorystore).
Solid coding for ops tooling (Python/Go/TypeScript) and a bias to automate.
Nice to have
Compliance exposure (HIPAA/PHI, SOC2, PCI) and security hardening on GCP (VPC SC, CMEK).
Prior tech-lead/mentoring across platform teams.

Interview process
We believe that people demonstrate their talent in various ways and we want to be flexible in what works best for you. We also encourage using AI tools to reflect how you actually work and use real world examples instead of leetcode style questions.
After an initial background screening to determine culture fit, we will work together to determine what’s the best next step for you to demonstrate your technical skills. It can be multi-day paid work trial, single-day AI assisted in-person mini project, past project walkthrough, etc. If you have your preferred method of showing off your skills as a talented engineer, we’d love to hear about those too!
