Voiceops turns those conversations into the intelligence layer for B2C revenue. Our AI listens to millions of calls, learns what good looks like, and builds a living model of how a business actually sells to and serves its customers. As companies automate their revenue functions with AI agents, those agents will need context, taste, and institutional knowledge to do their jobs well. We're building the brain they plug into, whether that's inside our platform or through open integrations like MCP.

Curiosity means you learn fast, ask great questions, and build strong instincts quickly. You can sit down with a customer’s VP of Sales in the morning and an implementation lead in the afternoon and both feel like you deeply understand what they care about. Off calls, you’re constantly asking how we can improve: what’s driving churn risk, where we can deliver more value, how we can make our customers more successful.
Speed means you bias toward action. You respond to customer emails and internal Slack messages in minutes, not hours. When you spot a risk or an opportunity, you act on it right away rather than letting it sit.
Ownership means you take full responsibility for outcomes. When a customer isn’t seeing value, you don’t wait for someone else to fix it. You figure out what’s going wrong and you drive the solution, even when there are dependencies that feel outside your control. The people who thrive here hold themselves to a higher standard than anyone else would hold them to.

Location
This role requires 5 days per week office attendance in our beautiful Union Square HQ which is located in New York City, NY.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who is obsessed with making customers happy! This founding FDE hire operates at the intersection of product engineering and customer success. You’ll be embedded with our most strategic customers, working side-by-side with clients’ engineering and IT teams to scope, implement, and validate solutions using the Voiceops platform.
Unlike traditional Solutions Architects or consultants, you will write production code, shape technical architecture, and meet regularly with your customers to ensure they’re getting the most out of our platform.
You'll work directly with the CEO and across every function. This is a deeply technical building role focused on keeping customers happy! If you want well-defined boundaries, this isn't the right fit. You’ll be customer-facing from day one, owning:
Onboarding that lands: Design sequenced rollouts, prove value fast and build repeatable, playbooks so every go-live is genuinely ready
QA scorecard analysis: Map each item to the customer’s existing QA scorecard a data source: CRM fields, call metadata, transcript content, etc. to catch gaps before they become surprises
IT & security trust-building: be the person a skeptical IT team actually wants to talk to by providing guidance and troubleshooting that will gain their trust
Integration improvement loop: develop mastery over finding every place onboarding should be a button click or automation (instead of a manual step) and ship those fixes
Pilot scoping for future customers: join the customer conversation at the “product yes” stage, map technical requirements and turn ambiguity into a concrete implementation plan before any contract is signed
Professional Requirements
5+ years of technical customer success, solutions architect or similar forward deployed engineer experience at a B2B SaaS company
3+ Years of Production Experience: You have deep experience building software across the stack. You are comfortable in the JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem, including NodeJS and React
2+ years personally owning customer relationships, partnering with client’s internal teams and driving product usage & retention
Demonstrated experience thriving within startups or small, scrappy teams
You’re already using AI tools in your workflow and excited to push further. Comfortable with agentic coding tools, not just chat interfaces
Currently based in New York within a comfortable commuting distance to Union Square. This position is in office 5 days per week
