About the job

About W/:\RP:

We’re a venture-backed core team of successful last-mile logistics founders and operators setting our sights on the biggest, most fragmented market we’ve ever gone after – the $2.1T global trucking freight industry. We just built Amazon's last-mile service for every shipper not named Amazon with AxleHire, and now we're doing it in the "middle-mile" with W/:\RP!

Welcome to W/:\RP, an optimised network of cross docks and carriers connected through one tech platform to bring shippers the best rates, transparency, and service quality in the transportation industry. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive Project Management Intern to join our team in Los Angeles and help us keep our projects on track and our communications clear.

Position Overview:

Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about bringing order to complex projects? Do you have a talent for drafting clear, concise emails and communicating effectively with team members? W/:\RP is searching for a Project Management Intern who can support our operations by ensuring our projects run smoothly and that everyone is aligned on objectives and timelines. In this role, you will report directly to our Senior Data Analyst and the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), assisting with pricing proposals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and revenue operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute clear and concise project-related communications, including status updates, meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track project progress and address any issues or roadblocks.
  • Maintain project documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Support the project management team in developing project plans, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
  • Assist in the preparation of pricing proposals, SOPs, and other key documents related to revenue operations.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a particular emphasis on email drafting and professional correspondence.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools like Asana, Trello, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for learning and growth.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What We Offer:

  • Hands-on experience with a fast-growing logistics tech company.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact projects and make a real difference in our operational efficiency and revenue operations.
  • Mentorship and professional development from experienced project management and analytics professionals.
  • Flexible work environment with opportunities for remote work.
  • Potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
  • Paid internship opportunity.
