Robotics Engineer
Los Angeles, CA, USA
Build robots that move the physical world.
Warp is rebuilding logistics with AI, robotics, and software. We've doubled our business every year for the past three years.
We're looking for exceptional builders who want to solve real world problems at scale. If you've been building robots in your garage, competing in robotics competitions, contributing to open source projects, or constantly experimenting with new hardware and AI, we want to meet you.
This isn't a research internship. You'll build systems that are tested in real operating environments alongside experienced engineers and company founders.
What You'll BuildYou'll help design, prototype, and deploy robotics systems that improve how physical goods move through Warp's logistics network.
Your work may include:
- Robotics software and controls
- Computer vision and perception
- Embedded systems and sensor integration
- AI powered planning and automation
- Rapid hardware prototyping
- Testing systems in live warehouse and logistics environments
Every project is focused on solving real operational problems, not building demos.
What We're Looking For- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python or C++
- Experience with robotics, embedded systems, computer vision, or AI
- Comfortable building hardware and software together
- Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly
- A portfolio of projects that shows you love building things
We care far more about what you've built than where you went to school or what your GPA is.
Bonus Points- ROS or ROS2
- CAD experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, or similar)
- NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32, or other embedded platforms
- Machine learning or computer vision experience
- Robotics competitions, hackathons, or open source contributions
- Experience building drones, autonomous systems, or other physical products
You'll work directly with founders and engineers solving challenging real world problems at the intersection of AI, robotics, and logistics.
Instead of spending months building projects that never leave a lab, you'll help create systems that operate in the physical world and improve how goods move across North America.
If you're obsessed with building, moving fast, and solving difficult engineering problems, you'll fit right in.
Compensation- Competitive paid internship
- Housing assistance available for exceptional candidates relocating to Los Angeles
- Opportunity to convert into a full time Robotics Engineer
If you've always wanted to build robots that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
- Send us your resume, GitHub, portfolio, personal website, or anything you've built. Show us why you're the person we should call.
