We’re building AI powered Shopify for service businesses. We help service pros (e.g., roofers, landscapers, painters, cleaners) acquire direct business, fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI, our digital storefront products help pros get discovered, trusted, and booked repeatedly.

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer with 10+ years of experience to play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our platform and guiding teams as we scale. This role is both highly technical and highly collaborative — you’ll design and build complex systems, mentor engineers across levels, and influence technical strategy across multiple teams.

What we are looking for:
Experience
A seasoned engineer with minimum 8 years of experience designing, building, and scaling complex systems
Proven experience with Python and Django/Django REST Framework in production environments
Strong front-end development skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, especially PostgreSQL and Redis
Hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate, ECR, S3) and modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
Exposure to or interest in AI/ML tools such as PydanticAI, OpenAI APIs, and agentic AI development

Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers across levels
Core skills
Apply expert-level technical knowledge across multiple domain
Design and build complex systems that span multiple teams
Evaluate and introduce new technologies in a strategic, pragmatic way
Create reusable architectural patterns and frameworks that raise the engineering bar
Deeply understand system dependencies and interactions across the stack
Identify and address technical debt at the system level to ensure long-term reliability
